1:] New Website, Who Dis?

Well, it is now our third try at running our own site. and we hope to maintain it so long as we are active members of this community. 

As you may have already seen on our Discord server, a new link now directs you to our website and not to MangaDex. We are happy to announce the launch of our own website! 

Fulfilling this goal was a long-standing journey, but personally, I’m really happy with how far we have come and truly hope you enjoy using our new site

Over the course of almost a year, Firstbober built our new webhome from scratch. He breathed life into our vision and succeeded where others fell short. He committed his passion as a programmer to cultivate our hobbyist nook. It is a masterpiece.

2:] What to Expect

• Updates will be uploaded to our new site and to MangaDex simultaneously.
• *Note: our website will be the priority host with slight delay to MangaDex should circumstances arise.
• As with any new launch, you may encounter some bugs with our new site.
• A new discord thread in our general channel will be established for reporting bugs. These concerns will be addressed as we (Firstbober mostly) are available to do so.
• We will soon update our "About Us" page, pending an artist to draw avatars for our team. (Message Bagan if you are interested)
• The "Join Us" page will soon be updated with google forms to make our application process easier, as well as to make communication with us more accessible for those who do not prefer to use Discord/use it as first contact.
• We do not foresee any website traffic complications.

4:] Connection Point Blog: Manga & Movie Reviews, Future Projects, - Other Ideas?

I plan to keep the site active with personal reviews on manga, movies, and discuss my ideas on future projects.

Other topic ideas are something like a manga book club, or just thoughts about life and interests. I think this will be a great creative outlet, and a nice way for our community to connect (and for me to work on my writing and vocabulary skills).
